Compensation: Hourly, Commensurate to Skills and Experience
Hours: Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.

Place of Work:
Dairy facilities located across Merced, CA. The company will either pay for work mileage on a personal vehicle (for custom situations) or may supply a company work vehicle.
Position Description:
Maas Energy Works is seeking a new Construction Manager Assistant to support the ongoing construction of dairy digester projects located throughout Tulare and Kings Counties. Our team is split in two categories, office staff and field staff (this position) that work on the job sites. Office staff work from the corporate office in Redding, CA and field staff live throughout the California Central Valley. As the Construction Manager Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Field Construction Manager throughout the construction process. Assistance to the Field Construction Manager will include attending meetings, taking notes/photos, documenting construction progress, updating construction schedules, trouble-shooting construction related issues that arise, and driving from site-to-site. It is important for the field staff to be able to effectively coordinate with the office staff to ensure high quality outcomes for projects and good relationships with our partners.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Field Construction Manager in the oversight of project construction sites as needed
Assist in the scheduling of contractors to the job site
Assist with trouble-shooting construction-related issues, delays, and/or conflicts with contractors and engineers
Attend meetings with the Field Construction Manager to discuss construction plans and designs with Dairy Customers and Contractors, take detailed notes of topics discussed, and document construction progress with reports and pictures
Qualifications & Skills:
Must be proficient in English.
Position requires extensive communication via email, text, and phone.
Additional proficiency in Spanish is helpful but not required.
Must possess valid US driver’s license
A general understanding of construction practices and experience is preferred but not required
