Hours: Full-time: Monday -Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Position Description:
The Controls Specialist will be responsible for the PLC and SCADA programming of a new line of biogas handling equipment, developed by Maas Energy Works. The Controls Specialist will be integrating many different compressors, chillers, sensors, sub-units, valves, gas analyzers, and other equipment that will together make up the overall biogas handling system. The Controls Specialist will work with the Product Manager, Engineering Team, PLC Vendor, and other stakeholders in order to manage the programming and development of the biogas handling equipment. The Controls Specialist should have experience programming Allen Bradley PLC’s and be able to learn Ignition SCADA.
Responsibilities:
Design control systems to minimize costs and production issues
Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel
Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses and estimated production costs
Design the layout of facilities and determine personnel requirements
Train staff for new processes and provide instructions and manuals
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven work experience as an Industrial Engineer or similar role
Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes and standards
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Troubleshooting expertise and attention to detail
Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field preferred
Must be proficient in English
