Supervisor: Director of Operations

Compensation: Hourly, Commensurate to Skills and Experience

Hours: Full-time: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm


  • Two weeks of paid vacation.

Position Description: 

As an assistant to the Director of Operations, your role will be to support the ongoing operations of renewable energy facilities throughout the State. Job tasks will include remote monitoring of electrical generation equipment and biogas pipelines, ordering parts and materials, and communicating with on-site technicians. The position includes daily troubleshooting of equipment as issues arise in the field which will require good communication skills and the ability to problem-solve.


  • Remotely monitor and troubleshoot issues at the renewable energy facilities

  • Coordinate with on-site technicians to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment

  • Parts and materials ordering

  • Travel to renewable energy facilities up to six days a month to troubleshoot on-site issues and perform compliance tests

  • Participate in an On-Call rotation schedule.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must be proficient in English. 

  • Highly motivated and enjoy learning

  • Detail-oriented and organized

  • Good communication skills

  • Analytical and critical thinker

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • A general understanding of internal combustion engines is preferred
