Hours: Full-time: Monday -Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Position Description:
Maas Energy Works (MEW) is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and experienced Regulatory Affairs Analyst to join our legal team. This position will provide analysis and transactional advice to senior leaders in various departments throughout the organization. The successful candidate will develop and advance initiatives and positions in regulatory proceedings, and will also approve regulatory compliance reports.
Responsibilities:
Advising internal shareholders regarding compliance with applicable federal, state, and local statutes, regulations and policies.
Negotiate with external parties to reach settlement on issues and proposals that are part of regulatory proceedings
Support negotiation of pipeline and storage contracts, manage regulatory outreach and obtain regulatory approvals
Actively informs management regarding regulatory developments including meeting outcomes, proposed regulations and timing of key regulatory decisions.
Provide work direction to team members
Coach and mentor department employees, as well as contribute to cross-functional or departmental projects.
Representing the Company before regulatory and enforcement agencies.
Drafting and preparing regulatory filings, testimonies and reports and advocating company positions at hearings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree or fours years of equivalent work experience
Preferred 2-4 years of relevant energy experience involving regulatory analysis and representation before regulating agencies
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Self-motivated
Organized and detail oriented
Must be proficient in English
