Compensation: Hourly, starting range $20 - $40; Commensurate to Skills and Experience
Hours: Full-time: Monday -Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Position Description:
Maas Energy Works (MEW) is looking for an experienced Instrumentation Specialist to manage a new biogas upgrading product developed by Maas Energy Works. The biogas upgrading skid will include biogas compression, chilling, CO2 removal, gas analysis, measurement, and other processes needed to upgrade biogas to biomethane for delivering into the natural gas pipeline or compressed trailers. The Instrumentation Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the gas analyzing system and the control system in the different phases of the development. This includes analyzing existing systems, designing, supplier selection, assembly, testing, commissioning, and documentation. The Specialist will need to cooperate with the different design disciplines to be successful. The Instrumentation Specialist should have experience with designing and implementing a variety of electrical sensors, control actuators, networks, and other electronic control systems.
Responsibilities:
Explore and assess existing systems
Design & specify the gas analyzing system for a new gas upgrading plant
Design & specify the control system for a new gas upgrading plant
Create all necessary documentation
Evaluate and select suppliers
Support the procurement to order all necessary components
Oversee the assembly and installation of all system
Manage the commissioning of the systems
Lab & field testing of the equipment
Optimization & technical release
Cooperation with other design disciplines, production, and procurement
Qualifications & Skills:
Three years of experience with electronics, controls, or other electrical systems implementation
Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude with for results
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Troubleshooting expertise and attention to detail
Must be proficient in English
